I deal with Mountains and Rivers

and harsh Sandy deserts.

Alone

I analyse my reactions, responses

I weigh it all up.

The change to make is mine

to consider, mine

to implement.

I think a lot, I go through every journey

Reevaluate every mountain.

I am hard on myself – do you not see

I try not to be – but I can’t.

I struggle and find myself overwhelmed

I try to get up – to fix – to become.

I am alone

My battles are unique, different than yours

I fight them in silence, I win them in Solitude. 

I live my life without you knowing

In solitude, alone

I fight wars and battles, desires and lessons.

I do this all alone.

I live a life you see but know nothing about

A life of mountains, rivers and sandy deserts.
